On the evening of August 8, 2023, the 15th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Games grandly opened at the Ordos City Sports Development Center, with the theme 'Beautiful Northern Frontier, Gathering in the Warm City.' A 6,000㎡ ultra-large LED curved ribbon screen created an immersive three-dimensional stage scene, raising the visual presentation of large-scale sports events in the region to a new level, offering the audience a light and shadow feast that integrates grassland culture, sports spirit, and modern technology.
This giant LED ribbon is the core visual element of this opening ceremony. Its overall shape is agile and expansive, continuously encircling like flowing clouds over the grasslands or a silk ribbon stretching across the stadium in northern Xinjiang, breaking the limitations of traditional stage screens. Throughout the cultural and sports performance, the LED ribbon deeply integrates with human-screen interaction, stage performances, and lighting and fireworks. The screen dynamically depicts northern Xinjiang's natural wonders, such as grasslands, mountains and rivers, forests, deserts, and the scenery of the four seasons, vividly presenting the long-standing customs of the Mongolian people and the spirited essence of Mongolian horses, connecting a development panorama of northern Xinjiang that blends past and present. The agile and flowing images of light and shadow complement the performers' stage renditions, transforming a static stage into a dynamic, immersive scene.
