At the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services, the Shougang Cultural Tourism Exhibition Area debuted the country’s first glasses-free 3D panoramic dome cinema. It allows for immersive surround viewing without the need for glasses, with three-dimensional visuals combined with surround sound, recreating content such as canal scenery and city panoramas. As a benchmark of cultural tourism high-tech that year, the exhibition area was packed with visitors and became a popular internet check-in spot, showcasing the integration of digital audiovisual technology with cultural tourism, promoting the application of dome cinemas in exhibition halls, scenic spots, and educational spaces, and accelerating the implementation of immersive audio-visual foreign trade cooperation.
